We're Outta Here!!!!!!!!!

I'm a little sick, ignore me, look at the marlin & everyone else!

We're going to be boarding our plane in just over an hour a day and a half in ANC then off to Cabo!...I'm sure I'll post from there!
We LOVE Cabo, I'm soooooooo excited!

Jr's Pics from Brunch

I think someone needs to get his own blog...he took pics of the brunch for the past 2 weeks since CB is off touring the UK....imagine that mostly dessert shots!

Manderzz is a Winner! And Grandma Buddy Arrives!!

Grandma is here!!!
Everyone loves
Ummm I think that's MY carry on LOL....it sure looks like I should be the owner :) Manderzz' long legs defintely come from T's mum.
The kids having some blueberry deliciousness!

Manderzz won 3rd place in the youth category! Horray!
Manderzz' delicious muffins
Juno's yummy "blueberry twists"
Jr's fabolous "blueberry bread pudding" he used some of my cinnomen vodka in the sauce that was baked in and used as a topping...soo good, we want more! The sauce was described as "instant death" by PT --whipping cream, sugar, butter and vodka, so teah pretty much instant death! Or at least a MI
Jr is comtemplating starting his recipe, Juno working on her homemade crust.
YUM!!!!!

Manderzz won 3rd place for her blueberry muffins... they had homemade blueberry jam in the middle and big sugar (cane sugar?) on top -yummmy! Jr and Juno both baked wonderful items too. They didn't win, but I think they should've! (I'm not prejudiced at all!!!)

Friday & Saturday with Friends

He has eyes!!

Manderzz getting some more layers.
It was a bit brisk at the beach.
I'm going to get used to the cold --I'm brining a puppy home and CB and I told ourselves we were going to walk all winter (maybe good glass to be found with all the storms?)
I like this pic of MS --she's so fast at finding sea glass for her mom! Abob is great too --but we didn't have any boys or their friends with us this time.
AG finding the largest piece she's every found --and very done --like a jellybean...
MS spotted this puddle and thought it was so cute! I agree.
AG and her man!
T is looking a bit tired after the trip.
MS playing volleyball! She even scored a point! Horray!
The team they played (Unisea employees??) was formidiable!

Friday we met AG and MS for dinner then ran a few errands, walked the track while watching AS's basketball practice. After all of that was MS's first volleyball game. We watched that and waited for "the dads" to come join us. The boat came in during basketball, we had things to do! They come & go so often that we're not blowing off a kid event to go be cold at the dock --not to be mean, but live goes on... There were a bunch of teens playing games and staying over on Friday night, I was too tired to visit them...I get that way after T has been gone for a couple weeks...
Saturday we met up with AG and & MS ran errands, went to the beach, the Moms worked out while my kids got their hair cute (finally!) well, except for the oldest. He wants to have someone else cut his --whatever, just GET IT CUT!

Blame Jr...It's All Him....

Evidently there are yearbooks still at UCSD from the 90s and Jr (NOT Juno, NOT MS, ONLY Jr) found these pics and wanted to share with everyone! Any guesses who these cute kiddos are??

Such Busy Days!

Happy at practice, very tried and starving by the time we got home.
Her team is 6th-9th grade --huge range...we'll see how it goes! She is in 6th.
I haven't had time to label everything yet...but everything is lined up and matching!

I'm a little crazed....
I just have a lot of containers, I have to use them up somehow....no OCD, really!!!

I've kept myself busy all day long everyday this week --most of the time....I've worked out every morning, and walked the indoor track last night when Manderzz had her first basketball practice. Her coach is great! I love it! I think she learned more last night than, well, ever! She was wiped out.
Tonight, after a quick dinner at Dutch Harbor Fast Food --it's cheap and on this side. AG & I are going to walk while AS has his basketball practice then head across the street to the high school to watch MS's first volleyball game!
The boat gets in sometime during all this busy-ness, bad timing! We told the dads to come to whichever gym we're at when they're done tying up. We never know when they're coming --hard to plan around events sometime. But we're happy to have them home! The kids get to see their dad for ALMOST 3 days...that's a long time compared to the last couple of times he popped in in-between boat trips and moose hunting.
I did Flash! Unalaska with ML this week, I haven't hosted in ages, I used to do it all the time! Also attended a meeting for the Parents Committee for the Class of '10 and a school board meeting.
I'm not doing the Blueberry Bash :( I will be scrubbing bathrooms and floors at that time on Sunday. Lots of meetings, practices, events while we're out of town, I feel slightly bad, but it's our 20th annv trip --I can't remember how we ended up getting married right before red crab season --he came out here to fish and I went on a FAM trip to London with a bunch of other travel agents. (I definately got the better deal)
