EWWWW and OHHHH POOOOOOOOOOR

Alec's mom was cracking my son up...made both the blood draw and x-ray painless.

That's a good looking St. Patrick's Day dinner!
We ARE getting low on green food color, good thing I saw 8oz containers of it at AK Ship the other day...why? why? why? I can't even imagine who buys that...ohh wait I'm going to!
This looks BAD, I just stirred some food coloring into olive oil, spread on the bread, sprinkled Greek seasoning (it's my favorite) and some Parmesan cheese on top.

OK I've got to get my St. Patrick's Day loveliness out of the way, then a couple pics of my middle kid who has pneumonia...I'm a scrapbooker at heart and I had to take pics of him at the OTHER clinic yesterday...he coughed all night long, the locals will say, "Ohhhhh Pooooor" when someone is pitiful, that is my kid today!
He's got some cough syrup with codeine in him, some antibiotics and 7 seasons of pirated Boy Meets World (I swear I didn't know they were pirated when I bought all 7 seasons off eBay for $63!!!)

  2. The first time I saw the third lord of the rings movie it was a bootlegged copy, we got it three days after it hit theaters...you could see audience members standing up and shuffling about because someone just videotaped it in the theater...Cramer style.

  8. Hope the kiddo's feeling better soon!

I love that you colored the food. How did you make the spaghetti green? (If you made homemade noodles, you're my hero.) Ever since I was little I've put food coloring in things...or just bought weird colored food...like the purple potatoes I bought today.

Oh, and speaking of Twilight, my entire family is apparently reading it, and I'm told I am too!

  9. I'm told that too...but AFTER this semester is over and AFTER I read the 35+ books I've started already LOL that boxed set looks like quite the undertaking! Nooo...I had to run around with Martha all day on TUE then go to a meeting, it was 7pm and I wasn't making homemade noodles LOL I just dumped some of the food coloring in the water I boiled them in.

  10. Hope your son is better soon. That stuff went through here and it wasn't fun. Yes, I too would have to scrap it. I love the "Everyday Life Moments" as well as the big things in life.
I know your favorite color is green, so I'm sure you loved St. Paddy's day.

  12. I think the twilight guy is cute, for a little boy. I have Twilight on audio on my iPod...I should give it another try but the first time I started listening I wanted to scratch the narrators eyes out. Very annoying voice.

  15. Well, if you did not let him run around with his shirt off all the time...............LOL!!!
Ok, Try my one tea steep. You will need Green Apples (see CD friendly recipe), Lemons, Honey and Earl Grey Tea and Boiling water. Slice the apples VERY thinly and place in a tall glass Take the juice of One lemon and pour over apple slices. Add the tea Bag and then pour the Boiling hot water over immeditely. Steep till dark and add honey to taste. The Tannins in the tea and the apple help with the coughing.
And those vapor patches at "the store that shall not be named" work wonders too.

  16. Whatever!! That was for the x-ray! But I will admit he wears a hoodie instead of a jacket and he tries to sneak out of the house in long-ish plaid shorts!! Thanks, I will try the tea, we have green-ish apples and I probably can dig up some Earl Grey..not going way over to the other side today!! Too far!
